Kilnsey Show

The REAL Showcase

Each year REAL Food and Farming holds a showcase event at the annual Kilnsey Show to draw attention to the uplands of the Yorkshire Dales and their importance to the environment, community and the local economy.

The emphasis of the REAL showcase is on local food and the people involved in it’s production and sale to the public.

There are a number of marquees and outdoor attractions for visitors to look at and get involved in and we hope that the whole event is both informative and entertaining.

Children’s Area

A chance for parents to relax and kids to get involved in all sorts of activities.

There are lots of hands on activities, all the fun and all the mess, but you don’t need to worry about the cleaning up afterwards.

Cookery Theatre

A showcase for the very best of Yorkshire Dales culinary talent and a very popular attraction for food lovers. Find out how your favourite local chefs use the best that the Dales have to offer.

A collection of producers from around the Dales offering fresh local produce, with lots of chances to sample for yourself and chat to the people who rear and grow the food on offer.

The Wider Show

More than this, it is the best place to see the working face of the Dales and get some idea of what hill farming is all about while at the same time having a first class day out.

Parking on the showground is £15 at the main gate, entrance A, and £5 at Conistone Bridge, entrance C. Off the showground parking is FREE.
